Google publishes human-reviewed agent-authored ADK performance changes

On 13 October 2026 Google published its account of an eleven-hour Gemini 4 Argon coding-agent optimization of Google ADK. The referenced merged code commit is dated 7 October 2026. Humans accepted two of six suggested fixes; Google's performance figures remain vendor-specific benchmarks. This is toolchain improvement with human review, not model self-improvement.
