EverWind and Anthropic announce signed lease for planned Nova Scotia data centre phase

On 16 October 2026 EverWind announced a long-term lease with a frontier AI developer for the proposed initial Point Tupper Nova Scotia data-centre phase; an original Reuters on-record report identifies Anthropic as tenant. Future capacity is planned for an initial 95 MW in late 2027 and conditional expansion in 2028. Neither installed capacity, completed grid connection, confirmed total investment nor actual compute delivered is established.
