Anthropic publishes usage-policy controls for autonomous physical actions

Anthropic announced additional Usage Policy controls for model-connected hardware capable of causing injury. A qualified operator must be able to monitor and stop the equipment and it must hold a safe state on disconnection. The revised provider policy takes effect November 12, 2026; it is not public law or evidence of compliance.
