GlobalFoundries and TSMC announce $2 billion silicon-interposer supply agreement

GlobalFoundries announced a five-year, $2 billion manufacturing agreement to establish U.S.-based silicon interposer production for TSMC advanced packaging at its Malta, New York site. Volume production is expected to ramp in the first half of 2028, not already operating in October 2026.
