Google introduces persistent Gemini agent and coworker-agent architecture

Google Cloud introduced a Gemini work agent with persistent cloud execution, cross-device memory and context, headless access, long-running delegated work, multi-agent orchestration and model choice separated from the persistent agent. Coworker agents have dedicated identities, email, persistent storage and organizational resources with scoped access.
