ARTEX maintainer says public releases and support will stop after reported misuse

Reuters reported that ARTEX developer Autumn-27 announced a closed-source conversion, end of public releases/support and removal of the public GitHub repository after reported malicious use. This is a developer distribution response separate from the already-canonical South Korean financial-sector incident.
